Richard Park, M.D.

Board Certified Internal Medicine

Dr. Richard Park is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a United States Air Force Reserve Physician. He is working as a Hospitalist since 2010. Dr. Park earned his medical degree at Flinders University School of Medicine in Australia, and went through his Internal Medicine Residency training at Good Samaritan Hospital affiliated with the John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore and served as Chief Resident. In his years of practicing medicine, he has found that the optimal way for his patients to achieve healthy lifestyle through preventive health measures and treating patients before they become sick. As a conventional doctor he came to the realization that this form of treatment had several limitations- especially in the treatment of chronic conditions. The recognition of these limitations led him to holistic medicine. He strongly advocates treating the person as a whole, trying to find the root cause of the condition instead of trying to treat symptoms with medications that may sometimes cause further adverse effects.
